Biography

Sumaiya Fathima is a passionate Behavior Analyst and educator with over 10 years of experience working with individuals with special needs across India and the UAE. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Women’s Christian College and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Madras School of Social Work. To further specialize in the science of behavior, she completed her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis Practice from Florida Institute of Technology, USA, one of the world’s leading universities in Applied Behavior Analysis. Sumaiya is a Qualified Behavior Analyst (QBA) certified by the QABA Board and also holds the International Behavior Analyst (IBA) certification from the IBAO Board. Since obtaining her QBA credential in 2023, she has been actively supervising and mentoring aspiring behavior analysts, guiding them toward professional certification with a strong emphasis on ethical and evidence-based practice. With a unique combination of deep theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience, Sumaiya is dedicated to training and supporting the next generation of ABA professionals. Her engaging teaching style and commitment to high clinical standards make her an invaluable instructor and supervisor at Behavior Craft Academy.
